FAQs

What does Jotter do?

Jotter is a London-based consultancy specialising in communication strategy, editorial leadership, platform creation and AI innovation. We help brands build audiences and establish credibility, with work that moves commercial numbers, not just sentiment.

Who are your typical clients?

Ambitious brands in tech, media and culture, from growth-stage startups to Fortune 500 companies. Past and current clients include Synthesia, Frontify, The Future Laboratory, GSMA, IPG and It's Nice That.

Which industries do you specialise in?

Tech, media, culture and consumer brands, with deep experience in AI/ML, SaaS, fashion and entertainment.

What makes Jotter different?

Narrative innovation and execution, with minimal meetings and decks. We build scalable systems and original IP rather than one-off campaigns, backed by an award-winning global creative network. No slop guaranteed.

What's your process?

Every engagement starts with cultural analysis and audience mapping: where is your market actually going, and who do you need to inspire? From there we develop narrative strategy and build systems designed for your team to run long after we've stepped back.

How do you approach AI and content creation?

We've been building AI knowledge systems since 2020. We deploy custom LLM systems and automated workflows where they genuinely help, but technology is always in service of original ideas, never the other way around.

Do you work internationally?

Yes. We're based in London and work across the UK, US and Europe, with the network to scale campaigns across international territories. The Dazed 100 format we created expanded to America, MENA and Korea.

How do you measure success?

Against metrics tailored to each engagement: traffic, revenue, engagement, share of voice, cultural impact. Recent examples: 85 million campaign views for Synthesia, a 600% increase in report sales for The Future Laboratory, 11,000 newsletter signups in 30 days.

What size projects do you take on?

Everything from focused strategic sprints to large-scale platform builds and global viral campaigns.

Do you offer ongoing support or project-based work?

Both. Some clients need a strategic foundation they can run with; others want a longer-term partner embedded in their content operation. We'll recommend the shape that fits the problem, not the one that maximises the invoice.

How do we start?

Send us a note and you'll hear back within one working day. The first step is an informal Google Meet. No deck required on your side.

Question we haven't answered?

Book a call or send it over and we'll reply within one working day.
